Entrepreneurial Liberation

Pursue personal liberation by becoming a force for positive change. During the course you will:

  • Develop deep insight into what makes new ventures succeed: Effectual Entrepreneurship (Sarasvathy), Discovery Skills (Dyer, Gregerson, and Christensen), Disruptive Innovation (Christensen), and Design Thinking (Stanford d.school).
  • Apply these skills to you business in real time.
  • Train in practices to increase your concentration, insight into social-emotional dynamics, mental resilience in the face of uncertainty, unconditional wellbeing, and the pro-social virtues necessary for healthy partnerships.

Effective Campaign Design

Effective Activism will train students to bring an experimental mindset to campaign design. Students will implement small scale rapid escalation campaigns through

  • post-consensus participatory meetings to maximize participation and agile decision making simultaneously
  • conditional commitment to lever critical masses of people to take collective action
  • direct political action from very low to very high commitment levels which put the opposition into a dilemma - and thus win political ground
